To coincide with the Winter Olympic in Sochi, the Missoula Curling Club is setting up a 3-night instructional curling league.
The league will include three nights of play. The first Saturday night (March 1st) will involve beginner instruction (1/2 hour), followed by game play (one hour). This night is where beginning people can come and learn the sport of curling. Opportunity for instruction will also be available on the next two nights (March 8, 15).
Experienced curlers can also come to teach or play pickup teams in their assigned 1.5 hour time slot. All three nights (March 1, 8, 15) are scheduled so that people can form into pickup teams on each of the three nights. A fee of $50 covers all three nights. If enough people register, we will have two sessions of 1.5 hours each starting at 9:00pm ending at 10:30pm, and the second session beginning at 10:30 pm, and ending at 12:00 pm on each of the Saturdays. All play is on the outdoor rink at the Glacier Ice Rink, Missoula, Montana.
