So You Want Dedicated Curling Ice? Here’s Your Chance 2

The rough footprint of the location of the new ice complex.

The Missoula Curling Club has been working with the city, county, Glacier Ice Rink and other ice users to map out a future vision of ice facilities in Missoula. This effort has involved including four-to-six sheets of dedicated curling ice at a new ice complex at the corner of Brooks and South (malfunction junction, for you locals).

We are in the design conceptualization phase of the project and your feedback — both about the desire for dedicated ice and the kind of amenities you would like to see — is critical to ensuring the continued commitment to curling.

So, on October 25 from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Home Arts building at the fairgrounds there is a chance to make your voice heard with the designers. The folks from the 292 Design Group, a firm that created an incredible curling facility in Chaska, Minn., will be here to talk with people and get feedback.
