The Missoula Curling Club is excited
to announce the return of the Big Sky Bonspiel. This bonspiel has become
one of the largest in the northern U.S. Rockies\, attracting teams from Wa
shington\, D.C. to British Columbia and throughout Montana and the west.\n\n
This year registration opens at noon Mountain Time on January 21\
, 2024. The link will appear on this page at that time.
\n\n
Registra
tion will remain $340 for a team and we will have a three-game guarantee.
There will only be one open division\, but we will try to group similarly experienced teams when possible. Registration covers the three games
\, a pizza feed on Friday night and a banquet Saturday evening.
\n\n
We will have a bottomless beer mug for sale as well as other sweet merch a
nd a silent auction to raise money for youth curling on Saturday. \; W
e also may have a band perform Saturday night in the beer garden at the ri
nk.

In 2020 the bonspiel filled in just under 2 hours and so be

o special footwear required&mdash\;just warm\, comfortable clothes and rub
ber-soled shoes. In as little as 15 minutes\, you'\;ll be delivering st

de heated tent\, and fire barrels to keep curlers warm. Stanley is just an
hour north of Sun Valley\, Idaho\, if curlers want to get in some world-c
lass skiing while they are there. There are even a few hot springs near St
anley for curlers to soak in.

Weber State Campus and costs $400 per team. The UOPSF fund is used to supp
ort the Ukrainian Athletes who have been brought here\, with aid from the
