MCC to Host a Learn to Curl in October September 07, 2023
You have seen it on the Olympics, and now you want to give it a try. Well, we are here to help. Come make your Olympic dream a reality (or, at least, see what it is like to play) by coming to the Missoula Curling Club's Learn-to-Curl on Saturday, October 21st from 4-6 pm at Glacier Ice Rink's outdoor rink.
This family-friendly event allows you and your friends to learn about the rules of curling, how to score, how to deliver and sweep a stone and how to skip. Within 15 minutes we can have you sending rocks down the ice and within a half hour we will be playing a game. You do not need any gear, just warm pants, a hat, and rubber-soled shoes. Sign up with three to six of your friends, and we can make sure you all get to play together.
You can find out more about what to expect at our "How do I get involved in Curling" page.
The cost for this event will be $10 per curler. Click here to register

Winter league registration coming soon.
Olympic League Announced February 12, 2022
This winter, many of us will be glued to YouTube or the television watching some amazing curling in Beijing. We know that when the Olympics roll around interest in curling surges. Last Olympics, we had one earn to curl where some 250 people showed up to try the game. Well, this year we are ready to offer a bit more than just a short taste of curling. This year, we are offering a three-week Olympic minileague.
The league kind of begins with an Olympic day at Glacier Ice Rink on February 12. You will be able to try curling as well as skating and hockey. All are welcome to attend that event.
The mini-league kicks off in earnest the following Saturday, February 19. Up to 20 teams can participate in the league and they will play on the 19th, 26th and March 5th. Games will be at 8:30 p.m. and another will start at 10 p.m. and run for 90 minutes. We will have coaches on site to help teach curling as well as talk strategy. For those who are members of the club, the cost will be $30 for the three weeks. Those who are new, we need to include a social membership in the club which insures you while playing. For those folks, the cost is $55.
Everyone signs up as an individual, but let us know if you have a team of 4 or more you want to play with.
Registration is now open!

Club Announces Return to Curling Rules August 11, 2020
We are beginning to plan for a return to curling that promotes safe play and social distancing. The Club has been working with USA Curling to develop plans to combat COVID that we have begun to outline on a new site.
In the coming weeks, we will be announcing playing options that offer flexibility and affordability -- two things we have heard from you are important this season -- for you all.
Headgear Options November 06, 2019
As we kick off this brand-new season of curling some people have been asking about the curling safety gear that players, including myself, have been wearing. I have seen multiple players receive concussions from impacts with the ice. Speaking as someone who has had loved one have to deal with TBI, I can tell you that the brain is a delicate thing. Protect what you got!
Here are a few head gear options to check out. I know there are other options available, but I wanted to send links to safety gear that I have seen our membership wearing on the ice. I'm sure that I can speak for the other players out there, I would be more than happy to show you what I wear so you could check it out, first hand, some of these options.
